I truly believe that languages have more beauty & is far more a bonding medium, rather than a barrier. Thank You Spandana, for making me enjoy the songs & lyrics of Swarna Kamalam, just as much as I would enjoy a well-written Tamil song, my native language. And as much as the movie would have portrayed that art is the way in to one's heart and the way out for the love and empathy in us, your understanding of this movie has resonated deeply with me! Sometimes, we need to figure out our calling by ourselves, feel it in our own soul, it cannot be schooled or imposed. Appreciating Art is also an Art and getting a taste of it has really made me feel elated!
Every word in this comment means so much to me! It makes my heart dance with joy that something I wrote made you feel happy. Thank you for reading, Srija! I hope to write about some of my favorite Tamil songs soon! ❤️
Such a brilliant pov and a comprehensive take on the movie. I remember watching this movie on the big screen with my grandmother and this article by Spandana left me with loads of nostalgia. Looking forward to reading more from you. Keep going! Appreciate Eshna for such an amazing initiative. All the best for more.
this was so beautiful! i’ve been wanting to watch more of k vishwanath garu's work beyond the songs that i grew up with and loved (especially koluvai unade), but i haven't been able to make the time. this serves as motivation! i also recommend watching the bts of the sakhi he shoot for anyone who hasn’t seen it :)
Nice one akka!!! So good to see someone delving into this genre of telugu movies. Felt so good reading. These movies were way ahead of their times and today have become underrated. It nice to see someone bringing these stories to life.🙌
What a lovely take on finding oneself and how beautifully you've captured it! Lots of love to the writer and the editor <3
Thank you!!!

Love you more! Thank you!!
